Change is Good- Right?

Wow! It's been almost 2 years since I have been on here and boy have things changed. I am now the mother of 2 and my little peanut Nova is now 3 and fully amazing. If I thought being a mother of 1 was hard- boy.. being a mother of 2 is way more difficult. My second little one is Pria Ann and she is adorable- she looks just like her daddy. Cute as a button. She is a very easy baby, i think because she has to be. I think I thought raising the second one would be just like raising the 1st, boy was I wrong. Pria gets very little tummy time, for fear her big sis will step on her an squeeze all her insides out. She is much more behind than Nova was at 6 months. I just don't have all the time to spend with her on the floor hanging out like I did with Nova, cuz now I have a 3 year old too. I feel really bad about this, but what do u do. Nova is getting better with the baby but I thought for sure we would never make it thru the 1st couple of months. Nova went from an excellent listener, great bedtime baby, to a terror, almost over night. We are pretty sure it was a combination of things, her new sister of course and turning 3. Everyday gets a little better and we make it thru but man.. somedays... I could be drinking by 10am :) j/k

My hubby and I have decided that it would also be best if I stayed at home and took care of the kids. Ok.. I can't tell u what a change this has been. I has no idea how hard this was going to be. It is teaching me a lot about myself. Like... Nova not only needs a schedule but so do I. We fill out days with art projects, walks, and lots of playing outside. Can U believe this weather we've been having?? Last weekend we had a bonfire with all the neighborhood kids- it was awesome. I hope we have a great 1st summer off together!
